Alternatives
Alternatives to Guesty, including ones that are not us.
We make one of these and are obviously biased about it. What follows is still the survey we’d give you on a call, because sending an operator to the right tool costs us nothing and sending them to the wrong one costs us a refund and a reputation.
First, the honest question
Most people looking for a Guesty alternative want one of three things: a lower bill, fewer features they never use, or software that fits a business Guesty was not built for. The first two have a dozen answers. The third has very few, and it is the only one we are a good answer to.
Hostaway
Good if: Larger short-let portfolios wanting a mature channel manager and a quote-based deal.
The catch: No published pricing, so budgeting means a sales conversation first.
Smoobu
Good if: One to five short-let units on the tightest sensible budget.
The catch: Per-property pricing that does not fall as you grow, and no tenancy paperwork.
Full comparisonLodgify
Good if: Operators whose real gap is a direct-booking website.
The catch: A percentage of every booking on top of the subscription.
Full comparisonHospitable, Uplisting, Guesty for Hosts
Good if: Short-let hosts wanting automation and messaging without enterprise pricing.
The catch: All of them assume nightly stays. None produces a tenancy agreement.
The Quarters
That is us
Good if: Furnished mid-term lets of one to twelve months, where the paperwork and the handovers are the work.
The catch: No channel manager, no nightly pricing. Wrong tool if Airbnb is your demand.
Full comparisonPublished rates for the vendors above are on the individual comparison pages, each with its source and the date it was checked. Where a vendor publishes no rate card we say so rather than repeating a third-party figure. That applies to Hostaway and to Guesty's own Pro and Enterprise tiers.
The short version
Are your stays measured in nights or months?
Nights: stay in the short-let category. Guesty, Hostaway and Hospitable are all better at that than we will ever be, and switching to us would cost you a channel manager you depend on.
Months: almost nothing in the category is built for you, which is why you are reading a page about alternatives. That is the gap The Quarters exists in.
See it against your own portfolio
Thirty minutes, your units, your contracts. If it is not a fit we’ll say so. We’d rather lose the trial than the reputation.
