The Quarters vs Guesty
Guesty is a good product. It is a good product for a business that is not yours, and this page is mostly about telling those two apart.
Buy Guesty instead if…
Four cases where they are the right answer.
You run nightly stays and live or die by Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. Their channel manager is the best in the category and we do not have one.
You need nightly dynamic pricing. Mid-term rates get negotiated once per tenancy, so we never built it.
You want a large partner marketplace: locks, insurance, upsells, guest apps. Theirs is years ahead.
You operate at multi-thousand-unit scale across many countries. That is what their Enterprise tier is for.
If none of those describe you, the rest of this page is worth your time.
The shape of the problem
Same twelve units. Same forty weeks.
The top picture is a mid-term portfolio. The bottom one is the business Guesty was designed around. Every feature decision either vendor has made follows from which of these they were looking at.
Mid-term · around 30 tenancies a year
Short-stay · around 1,100 bookings a year
A percentage of every booking is reasonable against the bottom picture. Against the top one it is a fee for volume you do not generate, which is the single biggest reason mid-term operators leave.
Cost
What each of them costs at your size.
| The Quarters | Guesty | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | €19 / unit / mo | $20 / listing / mo |
| Commission on bookings | None, ever | 1% on Lite; 2–3.5% on direct bookings |
| Onboarding fee | None | $300 – $1,500 |

Guesty figures are their own published rates as of 3 August 2026, on the plans they publish; their Pro and Enterprise tiers are quote-only and we do not guess at them. Lite, billed annually. $29 on monthly billing; $9 pay-as-you-grow carries a 1% fee. Lite tops out at 3 listings. Above that, Pro is quote-only. Sources: Guesty pricing, Costbench breakdown.

Already on Guesty?
Moving is a week, not a quarter, and we do the parts that are tedious. Here is exactly what happens.
See it against your own portfolio
Thirty minutes, your units, your contracts. If it is not a fit we’ll say so. We’d rather lose the trial than the reputation.
